More findings :D

Few more things I found while cleaning
Enjoy! :D

Grounded! :-/

Oh yeah! I'll be grounded for the whole day tomorrow unless I clean up my room today.
Too bad I have a cricket match to play tomorrow as well and I'll miss that if I can't tidy this mess up.
Funny enough I couldn't get myself away from the keyboard so am writing this post.
Right now I'm going through my junk collection, can't believe I have these stuff  with me.

An empty roll of plaster
empty roll of cello tape
a broken pencil sharpener
a broken stapler machine
a capacitor from a ceiling fan
A roll of broken - badminton - guts - from a badminton racket
Broken pieces of a lamp
4 motors
3 watches that aren't working
one broken alarm clock
few yards of wire
some parts from battery holders
curtain hooks
lots of pieces of magnets
2 blades
paper clips and staplers
unidentified metal pieces
hair clips
4 paper binders
a plastic stick from a lollipop
broken pieces of a car
A long metal stick
A headless bishop
A good for nothing eraser
Aluminium( I think it is) foil from inside of a capacitor
A piece of candle without a thread in it
A small round glass from a table clock
a small battery
some nuts
an audio input jack
a small light bulb with holder
a rubber band
an old toothbrush
a broken piece from a hairbrush

The funniest thing is I'm packing all of them into another box and not throwing a single item away!

Will post the history of environment posts later, as I get time
And water posts too.

Have a nice day!

Interior modeling and lighting

So I took a study break and adjusted the sizes of the objects in this room scene to proper dimensions. And did a  little bit of lighting.
The bluish one is "ink and paint" material.
Mental Ray Renderer with photometric lighting ( one target light and one free light )
Of course this lighting don't go with the 3 point lighting concept.
But all the same I like the dark environment inside the room.

Biosphere and "The Population Bomb"

Biosphere Intergovernmental Conference for Rational Use and Conservation of Biosphere (UNESCO) was held in Paris, France. A document regarding this meeting was published by UNESCO by the name "Use and conservation of the biosphere: proceedings" in 1970.The word biosphere was introduced to the international. Biosphere is the collection of all ecosystem on earth. Discussions on concept of ecologically sustainable development took place in this meeting.

Paul Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich(she was not credited) published  "Population Bomb" which described the connection between human population, resource exploitation and the environment. It was a best seller. How ever the book was criticized based on various reasons by various people. The book suggested that a population bomb basically needed three things, a rapid change, a limit and a delay of understanding/ identifying the limit.

History of Environment Science _ 1967

1967 - Environmental Defense Fund

After the Publication of "Silent Spring" DDT (Dichlorophenyltrichloroethane) was primarily targeted. In 1967 Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) was formed by a group of scientists and lawyers to bring forth laws to ban the usage of DDT. EDF went to courts to stop Suffolk County Mosquito Control Commission from spraying DDT on the marshes of Long Island.

DDT is toxic to many animal forms other than insects, such as sea shrimps and many species of fish. Although it is less toxic to mammals some amphibian species were effected. The exact biological thinning mechanism of bird eggs is not entirely known. But there is evidence that DDE ( Dichlorophenyldichloroethylene) has played a major role in it. The thinning of the eggshells caused the eggs to crack before they were hatched thus reducing the number of off springs drastically. DDE results from the breakdown of DDT.

Since then EDF has brought forth many laws for the well being of the environment.

History of Environment Science _ 1962

1962 - Silent Spring - Rachel Carson

The use of DDT without control as a pesticide made a huge impact on the environment and health of human beings. DDT was first used as a pesticide in 1939 and was used in great quantity against insects causing various diseases. But unlike many pesticides DDT do not selectively kill one species or family, it kills a huge range of insects.

The research on toxicology (study of effects of chemicals on living organisms) , Ecology ( study of the relationship and interaction between living organisms and their surroundings), and epidemiology ( study of pattern of health and illness and associated factors in population level) in the book suggests how the use of agricultural pesticides have effected the living organisms and also human health.

Adjusted the mistakes I did last time
Gave depth of field to the camera
3Ds Max 2009
Default Scan line

Woke up a bit late. Sat in front of the computer. Found an old file. Adjusted the old mistakes. ( Might have made new mistakes :-/ ) And worked on it until I got a presentable render ; and until I couldn't bear the hunger any more :D

Off for Breakfast-Lunch-Evening tea 3 in one lol

And then some Applied Mathematics
Perhaps watch the independence day ceremony in the evening, tomorrow or day after eh?

Happy Independence Day!!
